Check your fuel pressure. If there's low pressure in the lines, coupled with the heat of the warm engine, the fuel will actually vaporize in the lines before it even hits the engine creating vapor lock. The flow of fuel through the lines and back to the tank while it's running is usually enough to keep it just cool enough to not vaportize, but once you shut it off and stop the flow, that "cooling" is gone. Once the engine cools down and the fuel liquifies again, the problem goes away. Until next time...
