Here's a thread on testing the EGR valve
https://www.fullsizebronco.com/threa...n-a-93.423266/
And one on Throttle Position Sensor testing
https://www.fullsizebronco.com/threads/throttle-position-sensor-testing-replacement-and-adjustment.203080/

Here's a list of engine code definitions

"O" is key on engine off.
"C" is continuous. (Like the 41, 33 and 29 from the previous post.)
"R" is key on engine running.

Thankyou for this info it will help tremendously.

Mostly all of my vacuum lines seem to be in very good condition. There is one very small white line that crumpled apart and goes to this thing.

I honestly have no idea what it is or does, but I don’t think that’s a source of my issue. It’s on the passenger side right up against the firewall.

I sprayed a carb cleaner all around my engine to make sure there weren’t any bad vacuum leaks and there was nothing. I also spent a good half hour or so making sure all of the lines were present and hooked up to their appropriate appliances.

As for my EGR, I honestly have no idea what condition it is in. I know it’s there, and I believe it’s functioning, but I haven’t really hooked my peepers on it too hard yet. I will however be looking into that more tomorrow.

I did look at the relays more and both seemed to be functioning. There was also next to zero corrosion on the connectors due to the amount of grease they used.

Got a few more things to look into tomorrow, really hoping I get a clue. I’m pretty busy most of the day so might not be able to update until tomorrow night.

That's the actuator for outside air or recirc air for your HVAC system. Not unusual for them to dry rot. It's not causing your issues.

Ok update time.
Still haven’t had time to read codes on my truck, gonna be able to do it a little later in the day.

Couple days ago I cleaned all of my grounds and from what I could tell there was no drastic change. When I went to clean my engine to firewall ground, the connector broke… weird. So I replaced it with a crappy one I had laying around my house and called it good. And it was good for the 20 minutes I ran the truck. Today, I was going to the store and out of nowhere my truck started really struggling. It was similar to the issue I had been having, just way way worse. So I pulled off to a gas station to check my grounds and low and behold, the crappy ground I replaced was barely hanging on. Luckily I had some tools in the truck, and I was able to fix it enough to where I could get home. While driving home, I noticed that some of the small “misfires” I got in first gear dwindled. It would happen every once in a while, but nowhere near as bad as it was. My idle was still a little shaky, but I have a feeling that could be an old worn out sensor issue. Either way, I think the issue may have been bad grounds all along. I’m going to replace all of my grounding connections, and replace the entire wire connecting the engine to the firewall.

I’ll give another update either later tonight or tomorrow sometime. I still need to see what kind of codes I have, and get a little more driving time with these new connections, but I’m feeling confident.
