Wiring morimoto XB halos
Ok so I will be ordering my retrofit parts tonight and one of those parts will be some b list xb led rings. If I understand correctly these arnt ment to be run with the headlights on because the heat will damage the Rings. So I was like planning on wiring them to come on with the parking lights but then shut off when the headlights come on. They only way I could think of doing this was with a single pole double throw relay, but I'm not 100% sure I understand how to wire it correctly. Here's the diagram I came up with us this correct? Also do I really have to worry about having the halos shut off with the headlights? If so is there a better way of wiring it than using a SPDT relay? Thanks

i finished the setup about 3 weeks ago. it turns out i didn't even need the relay, of course i didn't realize that until after i ordered it. The XB halos come with a control box type of thing that's already installed into their wiring. it has a red wire, a black wire, and a white wire. The black is ground, the red i ran to the positive on my parking light circuit and the white i ran to the positive on the headlights. this way when the parking lights are on the halos are on but when the headlights come on the halos shut off. i guess its essentially a SPDT relay.
