It's not particularly difficult to run a fused like directly from your battery. You can run a relay if you only want them hot with the engine running.

are you looking for power for the light on them? Just tie it into your park light circuit and they'll come on with the rest of your dash lights. If you're looking to run power directly through the switch to the light, I'd recommend putting a relay harness in there.

I don't think the rocker switch needs a fuse, just the lights/bar that is connected to the relay. The switch pulls ~ 100 mA I think, so there's no need for a fuse unless you want to be extremely cautious.

You put a fuse immediately after the positive connection to your battery. This ensures that the combination of accessories from multiple switches won't pull excessive current.
