Default Turn signal, side marker project (pics)

So Im looking to install these is the wheel well as a turn signal option. Seen it the other day on a vehicle (not sure what type) but it definitely caught my eye. Question, it seems pretty easy but can I install this to the headlights to only come on when my turn signal is on or am I having to tap into a different wire? Below is the pic of the Amber signals and where I would be placing it. I also considered the side mirrors as well. I dont want tem on when my DRL are active, just during turn signal operation. What are y'all thoughts? Thanks in advance

I had 2 of the exact lights in my old tow mirrors. I coated them with night shade so they blended in then not blinking. 1 was my park light and 1 was the signal. It looked good. Now they got there head out of there *** and added lights to the tow mirrors.

Looks nice. Where you get them lights from? How do they install, screw or dbl sided tape?

You already have turn signals.

got them from OReileys, they are optronic side markers. They pop right in using a 3/4" hole and snug with the gromet

Nice custom turn signal project you have here. It takes a little bit of guts to drill into those side mirror housings. Have to hand that to you. I also like the placement on the wheel wells except that they would tend to get dirty quickly. The wire connection should be a snap assuming that you already have the led turn signals in your housings facing rearwards.

Only one word of caution. Hopefully you will not pick up the hyper signal problem. This is much more of an issue when replacing incandescent bulbs with LEDs.

Great work here.

I originally was going to do the fender but a couple of down falls, the dirt for sure, drilling into the bumper, and yeah I did get the hyper signal issue but figured out that I had the wires reversed. Overall I'm very happy with the install. The drilling was a little nerve racking because i had to go through to layers as shown in picture 7.
