Trying to match 9140 foglight to factory hids

What kit did you order exactly? Is it just a swap out or more to it then that? Looks good!

Guy's dont get to excited about the fogs yet.... I already had one side blow out!!! Going to call them today lets see how they handle it...

morimoto make some excellent kits. and don't worry bcazo, retrofit source will take care of you. As for people running 35w HID kits in their fogs. Any melting issues? any warping?

I contacted them and they are going to replace them free of charge!! No shipping back to them either, just need to send a picture of the wires cut on the bulbs and ballast. Once they receive that a new set will be shipped out...


As for melting , I'm hoping it should not be an issue since I went with the 35 watt which is the same as the factory..

yes they are great! and the morimoto kits are excellent. I had 3 sets on my titan running quad retrofitted headlights. One set for, one for high, one for fogs. never had an issue with them and i ran em daily for almost 2 years

When the replacement fogs show up, could you show some pics of the light output? Debating ordering a set for mine, would really finish the driving lights for my truck and top it off well at that.
