Well, I'm impressed. Just installed mine today, the only bugaboo was mounting the ballasts. I'm going to wind up using some 3M double sided tape, and adhering them to the side of the headlight bucket. The harness came up about 6" too short for me.
The light output is pretty good, will take a little getting used to. I also seem to have a bluish/purple line at the cutoff. Is this normal?
Also have a related thread with photos here;https://www.f150forum.com/f38/ballas...unting-350655/

Edit:.....I just re-read your post and saw the smiley face at the end....I missed the sarcasm. That's my fault. Celebrating the 4th too hard it seems...haha

Are you still running that setup, or did you find something better?

Yep yep, same setup I've got. It surprised me how far the highbeams light up. Should help with spotting Bambi and friends at 0400. Got to thinking about some retrofits for the Ranger now, that's my DD, so I think it could be money well spent. Are you still running that setup, or did you find something better?

That was a good looking truck! You certainly paid attention to details as well.
I'm thinking a problem I may end up with on the Ranger is the small headlight buckets. Need to do a bit more research.
