Anyone know if the apollo 2.0 up utilize centric rings with the d2s projectors? They have tabs that insert into the projectors but everyone is mentioning centric rings and I didn't get any.

I'm pretty sure your supose to epoxy regardless. My apollo 3.0 fit on kinda loose, and I used locktite 5 min epoxy for the final after they were all trimmed, solid as a rock now. I've read a few posts where people skimped on the epoxy amd had to tear them apart shortly down the road. I frequent bump dirt roads and applied what I though was a suffecuent amount along the face and locking tabs and let sit for over 20 mins like the destructions said. More than happy with the look

Mine are definitely dark, even though I went satin black and sterling grey metallic(to match my truck). It's really hard to see the detail I put into them unless you are standing right next to it. Either way I am happy with the light output, the main reason I did a retro, I know the effort I put in so I guess that's all that matters

Check out the Evo-X, it bolts in as a replacement for a lot of hallogen projectors
