That is kinda what I was thinking but I do still have the chrome tails as well. Not sure if anybody will buy them or not.

I have chrome, I bought a set of chrome to do my retrofit. That way I didn't have to try and rush it. It seems pretty common that folks will buy an addition set for the very same reason.

If you are going to paint more than just the chrome surround, in other words you plan on painting the reflector bucket also, then I can see just painting the OEMs that are full chrome. Once you are painting, another piece or two doesn't hurt.

The positive is I have some time to think about it.

Since I didn't get a tracking number for my replacement ballast, I stopped on my way home and picked one up. Some other brand, but I should be able to get them aimed today. Plus I'll have a spare ballast since I have 2 retrofitted vehicles now.

HAHA! There's an auto accessories store on my way home. They carry a bit of truck accessories, or can at least order stuff (priced a little high though), and a bit of lighting stuff (LEDs, bars, bulbs, Oracle stuff, etc), so I figured I'd call and ask. They had some and only cost $30 out the door. Cheap enough to keep as a spare, and it got me up and running tonight.

I still never got a tracking number from TRS (shocker! ) so I'm glad I picked it up bc I was able to get aimed and stuck in place with steel stick. Pisses me off a little bit bc the guy told me that if I got the picture sent in before noon, it would ship today. I got it to them at 930, so plenty of time but whatever.
