Default Spyder halo fog lights

So I order spyder halo fog lights that says direct fit for my 05 f150. Come to find out they don't fit. I called spyder auto and they said they have known fitting issues, so now I got to return them. Has any one else had this issue? Also what other aftermarket fog light do you recommend?

mines a bit older than yours but i still had issues fitting mine in as well. never will i buy from spyder again. try RECON lights. they seem to be pretty good. i just ordered a 3rd brake light from them. cost a little more but you get what you pay for.

Well I've installed spyder smoked led third brake light, smoked led tail light, halo projector headlights, so the last spyder item would have been the fog lights. The aftermarket fog is a rectangle with a giant circle for the lens, that lens was roughly 1/2 inch to big so it wouldn't clear the fog light hole to go stock. Do you know recon measurements? I believe my fog light hole dimensions are 11 1/2 long and 3 3/4 tall... Again rough dimensions.

Oh crap. Reconstruction doesn't make fog lights. Sorry.

I notice it too... I spoke to a friend with projectors and he said that the left is lower to help reduce blinding incoming traffic. Which my left us lower then my right side too.....

ah so thats why mine is also lower than the right. smart thinking... look dumb though. especially from far away it looks as if one is burnt out. thats one reason i dislike these aftermarket lights. i go through bulbs like every couple of months. $$$

I just ordered the slim ballist HID from ddmtuning.com for $40, I went from 35w to 55w which was $10 more. Comes with bulbs too, color of your choosing. Waiting for them to come in still though.
