I have a pair of D2's that I bought off someone used. One of his got warrantied, so he had one old style light and one new style. Both are Rigid, they changed the back housing slightly it seems.

Well, I got the email from rigid the other day. The light I sent them is indeed Genuine rigid!
I asked them that instead of them sending me another LED light with the diffused lens if they could send me the driving lens.. They said OK
I just ordered another single D2 from TAP on the forum. Now I will have a complete set of D2 driving LEDs!!!

So did they warranty the light or did they still charge you $60?

They told me they were going to charge me $60 before it was mailed out, which I have no problem paying them.
I received an email from them last night showing that the light was mailed out with the tracking number. Then about 10 minutes later I received another email that was an invoice that showed total amount due for $0.00 LOL.
So it appears that they did warranty the light and it cost me nothing out-of-pocket

No, I have no diffuses laying around. I was able to purchase the broken diffused that I had sent in.
I sent in a diffused to get repaired but I asked them to send me back one with the driving lens. I just ordered another d2 light.. I have a total of 2 driving d2s
