This thread is looking a lot like one of those week end TV car show/ infomercials.

I do not know about led bars from Rigid industries but i did bought the Q series and Dually XL, IMO they worth the money.
Quality of construction, warranty and light output are there.
In my case i am a satisfied customer, that's it.

A point most people miss is most if not all light bars are not DOT approved for highway use. Yes you can get away with them in many jurisdiction's but grab your ankles if the man is having a bad day.

I'm pretty sure anybody who buys LED light bars (or any kind of light bar for that matter) has an understanding they ae not DOT approved at all. It's part of the accessory world. Tires that stick out past the fender, illegal. But folks do it anyway. Lots of lights, illegal, but folks do it anyway (well illegal if they are turned on I should say).
Not a day goes by I don't see some guy driving around with his light bar on. Completely unnecessary but what can ya do. You've all seen my truck, lights galore... but the only things ever on are my headlights and the amber lights (which TECHNICALLY are required by law I think due to the width of my truck).

I was sponsored by rigid a few years ago for utv racing. Have several D2's and an e series in my truck. They blow the amazon cheapie away for light output and build quality. A couple years ago vizionX sponsored us for a new race utv and I was blown away with them. Build quality is on par with rigid, light output seems every bit as good if not better, and they have held up to an amazing amount of abuse while costing 20-30% less.
Rigid e2 was around $1,000 for a 30" and the vizionX around $800 for a 40".
For trailer lights I use the amazon stuff but for high speed (critical) lighting vizionX is hard to beat.

I'll never know if Rigid lights are worth the money, I can't afford them.

Yes, they are indeed worth it. I have had Baja Designs and Rigid. They are both worth the money and are BOTH separated from the rest by a wide margin.
The following are noteworthy:
Light output is incredible
Lenses are optically clear and are very strong (this is a huge fail in other designs)
Housings are built like tanks (truly water and dust proof)
Heatsinks are superior in design
Made in the USA
For people who need light output for safety (boating at night or desert driving) there is a very real need to spend the money for the quality build.
I have a 20" light bar and 2 sets of D2's
