Custom matched paint just arrived. This weekend is for painting the lights prior to install. Your install looks great and now I will look into the loc-pic you mentioned. Would love to be able to view out back at anytime while driving.

That will look sweet with PTM lights. I kind of have a ruby and black combo thing going so I don't mind that my lights are black around the housing.

Here is a link to the lock-pick. Not sure which version you need (if you have my touch or not) but you can see all it does here. It is plug-n-play behind the factory head unit. http://www.coastaletech.com/mytouch2.htm

Also you can access all the blocked features of your My touch while driving, no more error message asking you to wait until the vehicle is not in motion. I let me daughter watch movies from netflix via my iphone on my touch screen, its pretty cool.
Good luck this weekend
Danny

Done. Your combo looks nice.

Thanks for the lock-pick info. My programmer has already taken care of the video/dvd and user while driving tasks. I just need to see if he also got the backup camera available on my display button.

great, someone who installed flush mounted lights in a PAINTED bumper. ive seen many people cut into chrome bumpers but not many with painted.
question: did you have any problem with the paint chipping while you were cutting?
i wanna do the same thing on my FX4 but hesitant due to the painted surface.

I didn't have any issues with paint chipping when cutting. I taped up the area and outlined my cut and went to town. The lights have a nice wide overlap edge that cover any crooked lines or mistakes.
I'm really happy with finally not having extra lights mounted off the bottom of the bumper or shackles. This gives me tons of light and no worries about knocking them off when off-road.
