HID headlight upgrades
Hello all.
Recently picked up my 2018 F-150 Lariat. super cab , Stone gray (great color) & camel interior with dark brown accents.
Ford has gotten so many things right with this generation of F150, My only complaint is that the stock halogen headlamps are not very good at all .
Has anyone upgraded to an HID conversion kit , And if so are you happy with it. Also if possible please give specific info on manufacturer.
Thanks in advance

HID's dont belong in halogen housings, unless youre going to do it properly, a full retrofit ... otherwise youll be the a-hole blinding oncoming traffic.

Pass on the HID's and go straight to a set of high quality LED's.

I have the same head lights and am looking too upgrade. Found some from the retrofitsource. I believe it was $2,300 for a set of OEM LED’s.
Not what you were looking for but may help.

Full LED for low/high/fog is under $300 with no need to upgrade housings. Just a word of caution though - they are serisously bright and ppl will hate you. (I'm okay with it though)

No, he was right. I'm the a-hole he was talking about. My lights are aimed properly, but the LEDs are insanely bright. I'm not bothered by bright headlights though, I know how to look off to the edge of the road to maintain my vision while night driving. I upgraded to the LEDs because I drive between Buffalo and New Jersey every other week, usually during the night-time. Deer infested, dark roads through the Endless Mountain regions (just lots of hills and curves.) So really, I'm not bothered by other people's lights - but I also don't care if people are bothered by mine. I get flashed all the time, but at least I not the guy who retaliates by turning on my high-beams. I'm not looking to cause an accident.
