Default Disable LED hyperflash w/ Forscan?

Without reading the 300+ pages of the Forscan sticky, has anyone successfully disabled the hyperflash caused by LED taillights with Forscan? Load resistors are a last resort option, I'd prefer to just disable it?

If so, a link on how to do it?

Thanks for the help.

Hyper flash isn't something that you can fix with a tuner, it's a load issue on the flasher circuits. You can fix with an electronic flasher or resistors.

Electronic flasher units only work on trucks up to 2008. They cannot be used on 09+.

I have done it via ForScan. I'm sure that since you read through the thread, you know that ForScan only works on 2011's and up. I don't have a link on how to do it, but it's very straightforward and I could probably walk you through it once you're a little familiar with the software. I would suggest downloading ForScan and getting and OBD2 Adapter with a switch for MS-Can and HS-Can

I have this one and it works flawlessly: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ELM327-USB-V...492454&vxp=mtr

It depends on the year truck. Anything before 2009, you cannot use forscan. The original poster didn’t post what year truck so who knows.

Good point. I am so used to being in the 2015+ sub that I didn’t think about it being a different gen.

What's the code in Forscan to disable hyperflash in the 2015-up?
