Question on Putting HIDs in New Projectors

You can pick up the Spyders and do a drop in replacement with an EVOX-R projector for 100x better light with a true cutoff.
Also, there isn't a LED headlight out there that can compare to a proper HID retro. Someday they'll get there, but not yet (especially for drop in bulbs) And please show my an LED bulb that has the same light distribution as the stock halogen bulb. If it's brighter then you will have glare, that's physics.
The only Blue you should have with a retro is the cutoff flicker. My 5500k FX-Rs don't have any blue anywhere. As for replacing bulbs, my F150 has gone 3 years with the same HID bulbs, plenty of time for me.
