Question Putco Silver Lux Pro LED Conversion Kit in Anzo Headlights

Just got my Anzo switchbacks for my 15 F150 , and waiting to put them in till i find an alternative to the H7 Halogen bulbs that come with. Ive come across the Putco Silver Lux Pros, trying to get feedback on these. If anyone has used these, or done this exact setup.

Same style design at the end of the bulb as our XHP70 Conversion Kits, which we're testing possibly tomorrow in a "shoot out" with our XHP50 and another LED brand.

They should work great for you in your Anzos... I'm not sure how I feel about the fanless design though. Those heatsinks worry me, always have on bulbs like that. But as I said the XHP70 bulb being used and the end of it are the same design as ours (makes sense that Putco went with this style design since it works well, the regular Silver-Lux they have was not a great design so it's nice to see them switch to the same style as what we use).

I don't like the price tag. I think Putco is marking these up WAY too much for what they are. MSRP is $237.59... That's $100 more then ours, all to have no fan and the cloth heatsinks... They can do that because people will may $100 more for their name. Same reason folks buy Apple computers I guess.

If you want to hold off and check out our results tomorrow/Friday it should help you. We don't use a fanless design though.

With either system you are going to want to mount the ballast OUTSIDE of the headlight cavity, as those ballasts get VERY hot.

Ohh hey George, just realized we talked about this yesterday via email lol... but yeah as I said above we're going to test the XHP70 tomorrow (hopefully) against the XHP50 to see which work better.

Quick update for you... checked distribution on them. Lowest we're allowed to advertise the Putcos for are $202.50 (although everybody seems to be advertising $215.99 so maybe my MAP list is wrong/outdated) - so with the forum discount you'd be looking at $182.25 for them ($194.39 if our MAP is wrong) n case you were curious. VERY low stock levels on these as well from Putco (2 kits as of now available nationwide)
