Default Projector lights for door installation

I RECENTLY PURCHASED SOME PROJECTOR LIGHTS THAT I WANT TO MOUNT ON MY DOORS. IT HAS THE NORMAL RED AND BLACK WIRES COMING FROM THE LIGHT. I WILL MOUNT THEM UNDER MY DOOR COVER ON BOTH SIDES. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE BEST LOCATION TO TAP IN FOR POWER AND GROUND ON THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER DOORS.

IVE ATTACHED TWO PICTURES AND A LINK IF ANYONE WANTS TO LOOK AT THEM. THEY ARE PRETTY COOL AND I BELIEVE IS A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY VEHICLE.

THIS IS THE LINK TO THE LIGHTS:

Do a search for adding puddle lamps. There will be posts on what wires to tap into. Mines an 06 and luckily I had added towing mirrors with puddle lamps, so I had already run a wire into the door that is powered off my interior lights, so I just tapped into that wire. If its a newer truck or if you have puddle lamps, you may be able just to find that wire and use it.

Oracle sells them, but I bought mine off ebay for like 25 bucks, and they look exactly tre same as that kit right down to the hole saw. Try searching LED courtesy lights on ebay.

My suggestion to you is, if you have any lights in your door that only come on when the door is open, when you turn on all of your interior lights, etc, try that. They should be sufficient.

I tapped into some wires that connect to the mirrors... I think they are green/yellow and the other is black

A multimeter/old school bulb with a pokey end and a ground wire will tell you which one is hot and which one isn't.

Someone please tell me what that thing is called... a test light?
