Power Custom Auto Works Raptor Style LED bar from alternate location?
I have the led bar installed with the pigtail to the parking lights and was wondering if anyone else has powered theirs from another location? I have the AlphaRex sequential headlight assemblies and I have my DRL's set to my parking lights so that the led bar is essentially always on when the headlights are set to auto. The AlphaRex led plank/halos run at a dimmer level when the headlights and apparently the parking lights are on. When I set the headlight to off, the planks/halos are bright, which I am guessing is caused by my Forscan DRL setting (parking lights).
The AlphaRex headlights come with a harness that is used to make the planks/halos run in bright mode and I was thinking I could tap power for the led bar from the same harness to power the planks/halos, so they led bar will be on when the planks/halos are on (and DRL setting in the cluster or Forscan set to off).
Anyone?
