Off road lights -wiring
Hey Guys, im new to the forum just bought myself a 2013 f150 RCSB. Im in the process of adding some off road lights, ive wired up fogs before on my ranger but on the wiring schematic of these ones it has the white and red wires coming out of the switch. I know where the white goes but it says the red wire should be wired to high/low beam switch. Im not sure what to do about that I dont want to go splicing into any of the factory wiring. Any ideas???

If ur putting a separated switch for ur off road lights like ones for a lite bar or something just put the white on a power source and the black on a ground and see if they light up , if they do then I'd leave them as that I wouldn't recommend splicing into your wiring harness because depending on the wire size and how many lights your running the wire will really only be rated for 20 amp's

thanks for the info...i got it all figured out. I bought a fuse tap and found a fuse that wasnt being used on my fuse panel and rated the power that goes to the switch to only 3 amps, works good and didnt have to splice any wires.
