Hey all, brand new to the forum and the Ford family in general. Just purchased a 2016 Lariat and couldn't be more thrilled. Being that I always want to tweak things I have a couple projects in mind for the winter. One of which was attempting to upgrade the headlight housing. I currently have OEM LED's which are great. Are there any black headlight housings that are compatible with the LED systems? Thanks in advance!

Yeah, theyre 2k, from ford dealers. Youll have to swap your ballast over to the new ones, as theyre not included, for some reason.

Yikes sounds like an expensive pain in the butt. Maybe I'll just make esthetic improvement elsewhere for now.

You can always bake them apart and paint them black or whatever color you want.

Op - no ford housing that has black interior. It would have to come apart and be painted

Not true the special edition sport package has a black led housing. They are 2k too.

Regardless, not worth it to me to break up the housing just too paint it. Seems like too much work for not a great improvement. Thanks everyone.

Its a Huge, improvement. Especially if you have a Sport Package F150 like me. Now, if you have Chrome Package, itll look Odd, imo...
