Default My F-150 with new 4x4truckled.com H13 bulbs.

Yesterday evening I replaced my headlamps with 4x4truckled.com's
XHP6000LED

Pulled the drivers side lamp assembly off and brought it into the garage for better light. Initially I could not get the bulb to twist to the proper 3/9 oclock position. It seemed to be about an hour off.

I seen it had the allen screw to adjust its position. I tried to use the provided allen but it was the wrong size. I had a bigger one and moved it by one hole. This too was just slightly off, but to the opposite side of where I was previously.

Onto the passenger side. Since I was familiar with it now, I replaced the bulb out on the vehicle. This side the bulb went to the proper 3/9 o-clock position. Went back and disassemble the drivers side. I noticed that it turned less then the other side. I applied a dab of silicone grease to my finger and rubbed the gasket on the drivers side. Success! It twisted all the way and it went to a 3/9 position.

Im still not sure about the LED reflector being below or above the LED. I went with BELOW. It seems fine.

On low, the passenger side appears to have a "hole" in the pattern. Highs seem to match. See attached photos.
Low beam. Right side seems to have a hole in it.

High beams.

You have to buy the "light filler" option to fill in that hole... kidding.

Umm check your housing, make sure it's clean (obviously) and make sure theres nothing ON the lens. There just might be some dirt or something on the bulb. Don't be afraid to touch it, you can touch it, wipe it clean/etc...

LED bulbs are typically a bit bigger then halogens, and the bases are universal as well. The Fords, from what I've gathered, don't seem to give you much room. Things are always tight when you install the bulbs (on the 2015+ we have a screw on the high beams I believe we can loosen to help get the bulb in).

Also make sure both LED's are firing as well... it's possible one LED is out on the passenger side, thus the hole?

After driving it and adjusting the lamps at night, the spot seemed to have disappeared.

Not sure why there is a bright spot in front of the truck. It doesnt look that way in person. Must be the way my iphone adjusts for it.

Pros: SUPER bright, love the color tone. Price was reasonable. Matches my LED fog lamps.

Cons: Directions didnt state whether or not the shield went on the top or bottom. The allen wrench they provided was the wrong size. You can hear the fans on the lights form inside the cab. Took quite a bit of adjusting to get it right.

Overall Im really happy with them. Rate them an 8.

Thanks for the input, I purchased headlights and fogs today. Any other pointers for installation?
