Morimoto x3b led brake light

Anyone have the scoop when they will start shipping?

hinglemccringleberry 01-10-2023 03:12 PM

I thought their website said early 2023 or something, so should be soon. Now why anyone would pay $200 for a third brake light is beyond me. No third brake light is worth $200 unless it can do my laundry and give me a blowjob too.
I'm getting tired of "Morimoney" and their overinflated prices...

If you mean the new headlights, new tails, etc...end of Jan, first of Feb

I ordered all new heads/tails/3rd brake light

HoustonScrew 01-10-2023 03:36 PM

it could possibly help in getting that...

If you compare morimoto with a 5yr warranty to something like a recon with a 90day warranty the cost are justified in that alone.

I had not seen these yet. My god they're ugly, just like the Morimoto (or any after market brand really) taillights. I do love my XB hybrid headlights though.

Morimoto is over price junk in my opinion. I have had horrible luck with their hid and led products over the years.

Yeah, even if the XB headlights are under warranty when they fail, I have to what, uninstall from truck, pack it up and ship it, wait for them to send replacement while my only vehicle is down for 3 weeks?
And I would still buy them if there weren't sooooo many reports on multiple forums about failing components and abnormal behavior from those things. It's a shame. I do have the XB fogs and haven't had any problems, but if I buy the XB headlights it feels like I'm tempting fate. There's more **** to go wrong on the headlights. I'd rather quit while ahead.

Nope, had mine for 3 years, emailed them with an issue and they shipped a set of new lights with a return shipping label to send back the old lights. Not sure where you are getting your info but that was not my experience. My fog lights have been under water, snow, mud and hit with all kinds of debris still working. Brake lights are bright and clear. They have a customer for life and will continue to support them as they have wonderful customer service.

The abnormal behavior is caused from using the wrong fuse location for the DRL. Use the correct fuse and the DRL's are fine.
