Yeah my LEDs on the interior do that step down too, I don't even notice it anymore.

So my map lights are staying on ALL the time (except when the truck is totally off) they are very faint and you can hardly notice it. But it's only the map lights, none of the others. Any idea why? There is no flickering or stepping down.............

My truck does it to and i believe its because LED's can run on such a small amount of power and there is alwasy a small amount of power that is running to the lights when the truck is on but doesn't effect normal lights because its not enough power to turn them on.

Where did you get your LEDs from? If they are cheap they pry don't have a built in capacitor to drain the current or voltage to keep the light off. Someone correct me if im wrong tho. Call superbright if you don't like them, mine haven't had one lick of problems yet.

LEDs are better haha jk they brighter, take less power and look good! Im real excited for the lightbars I am mounting them in my bed.

Sweet man! Did you get the same bars from superbright? They are insanely bright with four bars installed. I showed mine to my uncle and he's like," wow you could land an airplane in there!". Hahaha
