Here is a link to a diagram from F150leds. It's the blue/purple wire with a grey stripe. Custom Auto Works had instructions also with their light kit.

Make sure your ground wire and tap are a solid connection. Custom Auto Works has a ground wire to the frame.

Right, I followed the supplied instructions with the initial install.

So I took a look and the wire I tapped for power is the blue wire with a gray stripe, but this wire is at pin 4. I then removed the connector and put it on wire 3 as per these latest instructions you linked. Wire 3 is gray with blue stripe. The lights won't power on at pin/wire 3, tried several times and with all light modes. Put it back on wire 4 and it powers on. Ground wire to frame is secure. No idea what's going on here.

Huh. I am not sure. I plugged mine into the blue wire with grey stripe. At first they didn't come one. So I made sure I crimped the tap connection with the plyers good and then they worked.

My ground wire is on the frame right above the headlight. There was different 2 bolts there. I just picked one.

Has anybody noticed if their daytime running lights go off after 5 or 10 minutes after running with their Amber raptor grill lights on? When I run my truck with the DRL on, they shut off after 5 or 10 minutes - this has only happened since installing the raptor style grill lights. Something is not right. I have the version with Halogen headlights and the plug and play version. Anyone have any ideas if there is a fix for this?

Not a 2018 but I just wanted to jump in here quick and say thanks to Custom Auto works for the ultra fast shipping....I had to drill some additional holes because of the aftermarket grille that was on my truck when I bought it......no worries
Overall I'm really pleased with the look.

Default Installed on my 2018

Just installed mine a few weeks ago. Got them from Ebay for 9 dollars. Easy install on honeycomb grille. Didn't have to remove the grille. Tapped into the parking light so they run without the headlights on. Added DRL switchbacks mounted right above the headlights. DRL tapped into parking lights as well. Tapped into the blinker light for switchback function. LED tube switchback DRL 12 dollars on Ebay. Very pleased with the look.

Is removing the grill the only way to get these mounted on those with the STX grill?
