And the obligatory daytime pics. Can't get over how bright they are!

So I’m bumping this old thread. I have a specific question for the ones with these installed. I turned on my parking lights as DRL through Forscan. Is there any way to get these to run white as DRL or will they be amber since it is using the brighter “turn signal” setting for the DRL?

Since the white LED’s in the switchbacks are the lower brightness, there’s not a way to change the bulb settings.

I was afraid of that. So it looks like the only bulb that will be white for the DRLs is the VLED bulbs.

My pair lasted right at 6 months. They just sent me a warranty pair.

I think I’ll give them a shot. If they stay amber for DRL, oh well. It’s not a deal breaker for me.

I just installed the Lasfit LD series switchback foglights. So far I am very impressed. They are incredibly bright when on the 6000k. I did a review thread on them in case some one else decides to check them out. Lasfit appears to be decent quality. But the fact summers just had to replace these bulbs under warranty after 6 months concerns me a little.

Mine are 6 months old and they’re still good and I had them in my old Sentra for 2 years before selling it, never a problem. It’s all a crap shoot I guess.

To be honest, I ran mine as a DRL.

I did the forscan mod to have them run white for the DRL, but still, that was only around 6k miles.....

So, I know this is an old thread but how are the LED turn signals holding up? I want to replace my turn signals with some good LEDs but I’m worried about damaging my headlight housing especially since I have the OEM HID housing. I just got the whole housing painted all black and I feel like my halogen turn signal is not bright enough now. I came across this brand LASFIT and VLEDS. Wondering how they have been holding up?? I been reading that LEDs can run hot and burn the housing which is something I don’t want.
