Update 12/8/15...in the realm of full disclosure...
My right tail light crapped out today. While the running lights work, the brake/turn portion of the light no longer works. This was noticed when I took the first right turn and the lights hyper-flashed. I checked for power at the pins and there is 12V+ on each of the two factory connectors where they plug into the light housing. Not real pleased with one only lasting from 3/7/15 to today...10 months almost to the day.
However, they were purchased knowing there is only a 90 day warranty. I figured when I bought them, what goes bad on LEDs??? I really like them, so I bought another set. If one more craps out...I WILL be going with someone else's, maybe RECON. For the price of two sets, I could have RECONS now.
On the bright side (no pun intended), the new ones are $7.02 cheaper.

When I removed the light I noticed water dripping out of it. Upon closer inspection, there was probably a tablespoon or slightly more in it. I drained the water through the lower "bulb" socket (where the bulb is on the OEM light).
I twisted out the "bulb" socket where the internal wiring for the light now plugs in (instead of the bulb) and found the brass contacts oxidized and looking black. Took a little 600 grit and polished them up, plugged the lights back in and tested on the truck. Lights worked!
Now, here's what else I found...
When I tested after cleaning contacts, I did not have the load resistors plugged in because I didn't care about hyper-flash at that point. I thought great, all is well. So I applied contact grease to prevent future oxidizing, plugged EVERYTHING back in, turned the turn signal on and nothing...WTF?
So, at that point, I'm suspecting load resistors. I had to turn the lights off again, unplugged the load resistors and plugged them back in, one at a time, while the signal was flashing. First one, good. Plugged the second one in and there was a tiny spark when connecting the second wire and the lights went out again.
What did I learn? These lights are cheaper for a reason.
1) The load resistor failed, causing the brake/turn light to not function. Easy fix, but I've never had a superbrightleds.con resistor fail and I have a bunch of them in various vehicles. Granted, anything electrical can fail at any time and this load resistor COULD have failed due to the water inside the light.
2) Prior to installing (my next set of) these lights, I'm going to seal the edge with clear silicone as I had previously noticed condensation in that one light.
3) Use electrical grease on all connections including the quick connectors for the load resistors. Everything is pretty much shielded that far up inside the fender, but it is open to the ground allowing water and salt spray to get up in there.
4) Do what I did... Keep your stock tail lights in case something fails so you can still drive without worrying about the Po-Po pulling you over.
