What year is your truck?
I had the same issue but found the light sockets were not lining up with the holes in the truck and causing the gap. I removed the sockets from the housing covered the holes in the housing with duck tape and sealed the connection from the LED wire into the socket with electrical tape. All fit perfectly then.

They look like the red cuz the reverse light is clear and on the smoked ones it's all smoked. I've been eyeing the smoked ones on eBay. Just trying to decide if I should pull the trigger. I really want pick up a set of retro fitted 2013 HID's or have tlf build me a c-bar hid before getting new tails since my current tails are smoked and they do the trick for now.

A couple months ago, I did notice a little condensation in one light after taking it through the car wash a couple times within a week, but that has since dissipated. All LEDs are still working as new and I'm very happy with the purchase and "the look" they provide. Looks even better now that I've removed the FX4 sticker on the box sides...
