Default Installed Recon mirror T/S kit.

I did not care for those bright amber reflectors on my 2014 F150. Originally, I was going to go with removing the reflectors and installing the plain black inserts. However, I changed my mind and went with Recon's smoked LED turn signals.

Installation was straight forward and fairly simple.

I think it looks a lot better than the reflectors.

The turn signals look pretty decent in low light conditions, however, in bright light, the turn signals are not so obvious.

Regardless, I like the modification.

Looks nice, love the truck color.

I have a pair for my 2010 F150 Plat. Was concerned about popping mirror off. Tried to go through puddle lights but not enough wire to work with.

Thanks.

Removing the mirror glasses is not as bad as it seems. I had done it before on other Ford vehicles so I kind of knew what to expect.

There are a couple of short YouTube videos on how to remove the mirror glass from a F150 mirror housing.

Good luck with it.
