The beam height was better before but just had my leveling kit done so i need to adjust them again. That will help but still pretty bright regardless. We have alot of deer in the area i live and unfortunately have hit quite a few over the years . The lighting was the first thing I wanted to upgrade this time to try and avoid that any way possible and they sure help with that.

Brighter does not mean better or safer!

Adjustment has nothing to do with it...
all the light inside my crudely drawn red oval is glare to oncoming traffic. No adjusting your beams up or down is going to fix that. Your driverside headlight is even aimed higher than the passenger which makes it even worse!
A proper HID retrofit cutoff has no glare above the cutoff. Im not here to beat the dead horse of LED bulbs vs a proper HID retrofit, but damn, thats alot of glare no matter what kind of bulb it is.

I'm pretty sure BlueJean is not using projector lenses, so he will never get that cut-off... so in his defense (and yes he's using someone elses product) he'll never be able to post a "cut-off" photo.
However he does need to align his lights properly because they might be aimed way too high.
You can use LEDs in a halogen housing, nothing wrong with it. BUT you need to use a quality LED light and you also need to be aware that using a high lumen bulb (take the CREE XHP50 bulb for instance, 6,000 raw lumen a bulb) will throw a TON of light out that housing so you REALLY need to adjust things otherwise you can scatter light. And even still that "light scatter" people talk about is very evident... the halogen bulb has the same exact "scatter" but they are throwing a fraction of the light out, so it's not a problem, but now you are giving those lights (Tim Taylor voice) MORE POWER.

I put an LED headlight bulb in the reflector housing on my Harley. Very bright. No perceptible difference between low and high beam. Now my visibility is great. The LED catches the signs way farther out than I can actually see the light beam. Is it too bright for oncoming traffic? I don't know but I don't get flashed or anything like that. Now that is a single light. I don't think I would do that in a vehicle with 2 headlights. That would be too much. So for my 15 I am sticking with the stock lights. Now I would like to get the same color LED lights for my fogs that I put in the Harley. That way I can select to turn them on for that deeper reflective effect when there are no other vehicles and turn them off when I am in town and such.
The HD bulb I have is 6000K.

I looked through your build thread but didn't see you call out the exact bulbs you put in the headlights, do you have a part number for me?
