Help!
I almost went with the SuperBright on mine, looked at the Recons too, but I went with the VLED puddle lamps as well. $60.00 a pair I think? . I have an '11 Lariat that had the original tow mirrors. I did the '13 Powerscope tow mirror update. But they do not have real Puddle lamps. So I drilled holes, and I wired them in place of the bottom amber light on the mirror.
did you originally have tow mirrors before you upgraded? I have a 12' with tow mirrors that i'm looking to upgrade to 13+ tow mirrors with powerfold. any info you have or a write up would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Yup, I had the tow mirrors originally. I special ordered the truck in Oct. 2010 with the 6.2. Then, in the Lariat, it only was available with the Max Tow package, which included the tow mirrors. I didn't wire up the powerscope mirrors for power extend because it's too much on my back at the moment. One problem I have encountered, I did install the mirror switch with power fold, but the power fold does not work. In 2011 the Lariat came with power fold mirrors. But since I special ordered the truck with the 6.2/Max Tow package, the factory may of disabled the power fold feature, or possibly did not install the relay. I bought a relay but haven't been able to access the trim panel at the rear seat on the drivers side (where the relay is located) to check for the relay because of back problems. If it is there, I'll probably have to go to the dealer to have the power fold feature enabled in the computer.

My wife was driving our truck (2015 F150 Lariat, 5.0) yesterday and said after making a turn out of the parking lot, she hear a loud pop, like a blown tire. Truck then displayed service advance Trac and hill descent. After she got home, both of the lights were still on. I shut it off and restarted with my key. Lights off and drives fine. I'm getting worried that with just under 50,000 miles, this is going to be a big expense.
I don't know whether to keep driving it and see what happens or just take it in. I would think that if this is the steering rack issue, a recall should have been issued since it seems that it may be dangerous. The wife is the primary driver and I doubt she will be able to steer it if the power assist goes out
