Default Budget headlights/foglights/taillights for a 2018 XLT

Hey everyone, I finally bought my truck on Sunday, and the first thing I noticed while driving at night is how bad the headlights are!

Since I put a significant money down on the truck, my budget for upgrades isn't as high as I'd like to be. I've already ordered a stubby antenna, floormats, and a roll up bed cover. I'd like to upgrade the lighting next.

What would be some recommendations for where to begin looking for budget friendly lights? I'd ideally like to go LED if possible.

Thanks everyone!

Budget LED bulbs can be problematic, the element/chip sizes and location may or may not match the Halogen specs. Reliability is another concern. You can save some by swapping the low beams first, upgrading the high latter, to get a more expensive but higher quality/inspected bulb from a reputable source. Or do your own research and accept a potential crap-shoot with mail order houses.
Another method listed above, high output Halogen, just remember increasing the Wattage shorten bulb life generally and run at higher temps in the housing.
My only LED experience other than research is with Headlight Revolution and Diode Dynamics both with very good results. KM

no issues with using the SL1 LED's in the OEM Halogen housing?

They went into my son's 2019 and fit fine under the OEM dustcovers, good cutoff and plenty of down-road light. What I really like about them (and my V.3's) is the width of the low beam at least 25% wider than OEM halogen. KM

60 bucks for all lights with easy mod should cover the “budget” part for you.....

More than happy with my Diode Dynamics SL1s. Not cheap but well worth it for a 3 year warranty.

Collin, Diode Dynamics does not have replacement headlight LED bulbs for a 2019 F150? Thanks, Bill C
