Default HID Projector Retrofits

My dad and I have started a little side project retrofitting projectors into OEM housings. Some of the work we have already done are:
2 - VW Jetta TDI's
1 - VW Beetle TDI.
The projectors and ballasts we use are Hella (gen 4) with Philips 85123 bulbs and relay harnesses from TRS. If anyone is interested we are starting to work on F150's now and have them listed on ebay, or anyone can PM me for F150 member pricing info.

You can specify any type of projector or ballasts you would like for us to install too, we just have always liked Hella.

Ebay listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/200751581438...84.m1555.l2649

Here are some pictures of the VW's we have done.

My old 2000 Jetta I retrofitted myself.

A friend of mine's, 05' Jetta my dad did.

And my mom's 2000, Beetle my dad and I did.

Any other questions feel free to PM us anytime!

What are your credentials as far as experience in custom applications other than two or three you've done? Can you show us some close up pictures of the finished products? How do you go about cutting and finishing the shroud extensions? Templates or free hand?

PM's sent to jgut and XtraLarge

And yes price is different for you f150 members!

Well to begin with my dad has been a diesel mechanic for over 35+ years and I work in the HVAC/R trade for 10 now. Both of us are very good at retrofitting things together to make them work. The HID aspect of our hobbies started 12 years ago when we retrofitted that 00' Beetle and ever since we have been on and off with HIDs. Now after getting comfortable with retrofitting we decided we should take our "somewhat experience" and pass it on to others. By no means are we "pro's" but we both have an OCD for perfectionism on making things work if they were our own projects.
I can get some close ups of the headlights for you but as for pulling out the headlights, thats another story. VW's require pulling the whole front bumper to get the stupid headlights out!!!
As for the shroud extensions we would first make a template and then cut the final shroud extension.

It is highly unlikely you will have problems but if you do I have decided to offer a 1 year warranty from the day I ship them to you.
If any problems arise, I will help you diagnose the problem and ship you the part for free. Providing you send me a temporary deposit first, via Paypal for the cost of the part. After you will ship (I will provide shipping costs) the defective part back to me and then I will refund your temporary deposit.

I know, I know a lot of hassel, but anyone could "say" their ballast or bulb went out and I wouldn't know any different without the proof.
