When you say it is very colorful, I am really looking for the brightest white that I can get. Not real interested in blue, knowing that this cuts down on the usable light. Is the 85123 the best choice?

Thanks,

Mark

The osram cbi's would be your best bright white light without sacrificing lumens. Extra $200 but worth it.

Are these 35W or 55W? Only have a couple of concerns. The heat build up in the housings and the reliabilty of the LED rings if these are 55W.

Thanks,

Mark

They can be used with either ballast but keep in mind the bulb life of any bulb powered by a 50w ballast will be reduced by 25%

In that case I am good with the 35W ballast. Hopefully this will also keep the heat down as well.

On another note; I have heard that the EVOX-R projector may not be quite as good as FX-R in the low beam catigory. Are you familiar with that comparison? I would sacrafice a little high beam performance for a better low beam because that certainly will be what I use the majority of the time in a populated area like Cypress, Texas. Now out on my deer lease is another story.

I will get that build out list to you today.

Thanks,

Mark

The CBI's are nice but I would also consider the SVS's. They are a more natural color than the cool blue of the CBI but their performance is great for an 35w OEM bulb.

Thanks for the suggestion. What is the output of the SVS? Who makes it?

You are correct on the projectors, the FXR's are a nice wide beamed projector whereas the evo's really are a good high beam emitter.

That and the lumen rating is higher I believe.

Answered my own question with your link. I like the SVS better and it is brighter. I will have to change the fog light bulbs now as well.

Good info.

Thanks,

Mark
