Haha, thanks dude. I've never been a fan of white until I got this truck. I've always had a red vehicle, but this one was in too great of shape to pass up. You got an advantage over me because yours is a reg cab. I would much prefer that over a supercab, but I gotta have something with a backseat to haul the kid around in. I'd like to see it once your done. I bet it's gonna look freakin sweet! Btw, I'm diggin the TJ or YJ in your profile pic (hard to tell which one because the pic cuts most of it off). I have a 2004 Black TJ w/ the 4.0L I6. Beast of an engine!

Here's the black lighting style with 6K HID's. 8k and 10k are too blue and not very bright. They don't give you very good visibility. I'd go with the 6k which is bright and still gives you a small blue tint to the light or 5k which is a tad bit brighter and almost completely white light.

I just put my headlights in yesterday.
BrowningScrew gives very good advice.

I got mine from DDMTUNING, 55watt, 8,000K 9007/hb5 low beam. the K on the end of the number is for kelvin which pretty much is the color. simply put when you get into higher Kelvin or K the color simply becomes brighter. when you get above a certain K in both 35 watt an 55 watt they start to turn blue an then purple in some cases, it varies for both wattages.

http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W

here is exactly what I ordered an a chart to help you decide on what kevin you want.

(I'd think so, but want to make sure)
They sure look sharp!
I polished my stockers up as good as I could, but they're still lacking in the clarity department.

They're a complete plug-n-play for all 97-03 trucks. They will fit your 98. Same mounting brackets and adjuster screws. Pull the trigger! You'll be glad you did cause they look sweet. I used clear turn signal bulbs for mine because they don't produce orange reflection when not used, but to each his own. My truck is the white one on the bottom of the second page of this thread.
