Can you aim the fogs? Havent road tested them yet but as far as brightness them were alot brighter than my factory fog lights on the wall test in my garage. Thank you for the info though. Im always open to ideas. Im no guru by any means

4x4, why have you not told people to talk to you in your Vendor Showcase threads, which are designed specifically so you can tout your products? You are WELL aware of this by now.

Maybe they are just humble. But flaunt it!

Default Superbright VS F150 LED

Despite warnings from this site and others I bought from F150LED, citing price as a reason. The parts were all included, wires, lights T-junction to connect it all.
I did note the lights looked a little cheap but that was my only impression.
The instructions were clear and I soon installed them.
However, after the second week, one burned out, and a few days later the second burned out.
I did some more research, (what I should have done in the first place) and after looking at Superbright LEDs discovered the lights sold by F150LEDs for use outside, where in fact the same lights sold by Superbright LEDs but as indoor lights.
I ordered new ones from Superbright, the colour was more intense, light was brighter, and the quality of the parts much better.
Lesson learned, buy something once, don't "cheap out".

When I was new to the site, I researched both 4X4 and F150LEDS for my 13 SCREW Ecoboost.

Recently went with 4X4truckLED's, replaced both the Crappy OEM halogens and fogs with matching Claralux LED's and could NOT be ANY happier. I think it was like $260 ish for all 4....great online, forum, immediate support. It was an OMG moment when I installed them...

Product is durable, easy install.

100% recommend them

Registered just to post feedback on f150leds since this thread turned up in a google search when looking for information. I ordered some lights from F150 LEDs and I'm pretty disappointed in their documentation and instructions which were very lacking and in some cases conflicting. I thought the product itself was fine while it worked, but because of the poor instructions, I ended up hooking up resistors/ballast intended for foglights to the low beams. In other parts of their site, it seems to indicate that no resistors/ballast are needed for foglights. The resistors got incredibly hot and melted the housing. The videos they have up on youtube are for a previous version of the product.

After several emails, they finally figured out what I did (installed the resistor to the low beam instead of the fog). In the end, yes I suppose it's partially my fault, but it was incredibly unclear what parts went with which bulbs.

I've bought about $1500 worth of LED marker lights, turn signal lights, brake lights, reverse lights, puddle lights, cargo lights... since my 2014 F150 purchase. I've got to say, I'm most happy so far with the lights from the F150LEDs site.

I've had lights from SuperbrightLEDs, VLEDs (Triton v6), Auxbeam, Lumawerx, JDM Astar, iBrightstar, LUYED, DBMOTOR, Putco, Daytime Brightlites, Recon (or GoRecon), there's a few others I cannot think of at the moment. I need to walk down to the garage to see what else I bought.

I've gotten some craptastic map lights from F150LEDs. They were a VERY tight fit within the map light housing. At some point in time, they updated the light and it's now the best I've tried. Their How-To video is poor and I broke my $200 map light housing trying to follow it. I had to buy a replacement.

The VLEDs were really expensive. The marker light operation was slightly dimmer than stock! The brake light operation is really bright but I still like the F150LED product.

If I recall, F150LEDs and Daytime Brightlites has the best puddle lights. I think I'm using Daytime Brightlights now.

Recon sells really nice license plate light kits. It replaces the housing with their custom version. I like it but there needs to be some improvement on the white light shining onto the plate. The red marker light part is really tiny and bright. Their puddle lights are total trash. As too are all of their tailgate brake light bars... complete trash. Their light-up "F150" side emblems suck too. They look like garbage after a year or so and the lights don't last. Many of their LEDs suck.

Morimoto lensed LED fog lights are nice. I have yet to try other fog light options though. I have a feeling there is better out there. I don't want to add glare though and these lights have a hard cutoff light pattern. I just wish they were brighter. They look high-end too.

Hopefully this helps a tad.

Default Resistor for headlights

Would it be recommended to have resistors for changing the headlights out if you were to go with a product like the F150LED.com product.

I have no experience with LED headlights. Seems odd if resistors would be needed on them since they are either always ON or always OFF and they have built-in circuitry.

Would be interesting to know.
