I added puddle lamps a while back, always had the problem of them going dim or turning off when the door was open. IIRC, I tapped the purple (??) for power and grounded to the mirror bolt on the inside. I 'spect I'm losing ground when the door is open.

So what wire in the mirror harness is the ground?? Search didn't turn up what I was looking for, and I'd rather not run a new wire through the grommet to the body.
