I wonder if a micro Gatling Gun shroud would fit it?

Well I've been at a standstill waiting on TRS to get their H11 3000k bulbs in. But after speaking with Matt I decided to change my order to 6000k to match my heads being built. I'll order the 3000k later if I still feel like having golden fog lights. Hopefully the bulbs and other components I ordered from them will be in by the end of the week. If so ill have them installed by early to mid next week!!

Have you opened yours up yet to remove the bottom cutoff shield?

I was hoping to find a way to utilize the existing fog light lens to protect the new projector or fit a lexan cover into the housing.

How well does lexan stand up to rock chips?

No I haven't modified it yet, how difficult is it to get apart and back together (well)? I'm wanting to see how well they work with both shields in place before I cut it off. Is it a pretty noticeable difference?

My thought on the lenses is that they are used without lenses on multiple ford models (fusion, flex, mkx...) so why would it be any different on a pickup. I MAY put some lamin-x over it just for a small amount of extra protection but I don't feel it's necessary. Just peace of mind I guess.

Pardon the crappy cellphone pic but here's a shot of the drivers side fog light (cutoff against the wall) powered up. It still needs a lil adjusting but is not too far off... These are way better than the stock fog lights. So glad I bought them and took on this project!

FYI
The light your seeing above the cutoff is my switchback led turn signals.

For now I'm using TRS' h11 6000k but as soon as they are back in stock I will swap them to 3000k.
