First time aiming projectors for retrofit
These are Mini H1 projectors from TRS closeout, Morimoto 6000k bulbs and XB35 ballasts in my 07 housings. No lenses yet as I just aimed them. The pics are from 23' as that was the furthest distance I could get and remain level. There is a slight bit more of blue on the left projector but I have seen this before on other aiming shots. I tried shimming the right lense to gain more blue on the cutoff, but it kept taking it out of focus. How did I do?

Despite our "beef" - they look good. Will that blue part blind drivers at all. The cut off is very sharp, looks like good amount of light left/right but it's hard to tell with the equipment in the way. How do the highs look?

Highs are great, driver beam is slightly higher than passenger beam. Other drivers cant see the blue from what I have read, that blue is also highly desirable. You can shim the lens off the projectors with small washers to gain more blue or even a orange/red color, its whatever you desire. I just could get the blue on the right side to show up and if it did, the cutoff got hazy. Its my first retrofit and budget at that, so I am pretty happy with the aiming. I am posting my results on HIDplanet for opinions to get the blue and cutoff more prevalaint on the right side projector.

According to a member on HID Planet, HK45 , he has a article on bulb shimming and said both bulbs need shimmed, the passenger for sure needs shimmed at the 12 o'clock position to raise the hotspot. Just using cereal box thickness cardboard will work, so tomorrow I will give it a try.

Looks like your passenger bulb isn't seated right. See how the hot spot is more to the left of the centre of the cutoff? Both cutoffs should look almost identical.
You can also tell by how quickly the intensity diminishes to the right. Driver side looks to be pretty good though.

There isn't actually less blue in that first picture. It's just the light from the driver side projector that's overpowering the blue if that makes sense. If you were to cover the driver side projector you'd see just as much blue on the passenger side.

Yep, got it fixed, shimmed the passenger bulb at the 2 o'clock position, added a small washer on the bottom of each foot on the lens and voila, almost perfect. Same color, same location on the hot spot and at 150' is even more perfect. These shots were from 20'.
