Yeah, I was looking for some fogs that aren't so much duller than my stock O.E. HIDs

For output, our XP80 will be a definitive upgrade in brightness over your stock bulbs, and our SLF will produce the brightest, most focused beam overall. Neither bulb should "overpower" your headlights, but you'd definitely notice increased visibility.

Hope this helps!

Hows does a standard SL1 H10 perform in the fog lights? Would that "overpower" the housing? I see the SL1s are offered as an option for the fog lights now.

Have you done any testing with the beam pattern of the SL1s and the SLFs in the factory fog light housings? Or have any comparison photos?

Thanks-

Great questions! The SL1 features a similar advanced optical design as the SLF, so it will provide a clean, even beam pattern just like the SLF, but with even more light output.

We have tested it in several models, and plan to conduct testing on many more in the coming months. The SL1 was added to fog light listings out of "popular demand", so we're playing a bit of catch-up when it comes to installed and output images.

I'm actually running SL1s in my personal vehicle's fog lights, and am really happy with the increased output (and my SLFs were BRIGHT) and focused bream pattern.

I'll post more pictures as soon as they're available!

Thats cool. I have a competitors brand of a similar design to yours and have a good cutoff and simlar output to the SL1s. But im finding while theyre great and bright....all that light on the road directly in front of you distracts you somewhat from looking farther down the road where the headlights lose output over distance. So im debating whether to downgrade to your SLF or getting the OEM led fogs for thr 2018s.

I would not be interested in the XP80 or other variaties because they dont produce a beam with a cutoff.

DD have you done a comparison between the output of the SLF bulbs and that of the OEM Led Fog Lights?

That's a great question! We haven't yet, but definitely plan to in the near future (among much more comparison testing against other bulbs/brands).

Just curious if OEM has more lumens or lux than the SLF. Im sure the SL1 is much more but I wanted to tone down the output on mine. SL1s output in those small fog housings is alot.

I'd also be curious to see what the data shows (I suspect the SLF produces more light, but wouldn't want to officially claim that). We're actively bringing in more and more vehicles for testing, so I'll post as soon as I have more info.
