Anyone have experience mounting a 12" light bar behind the grill of a 2018 XLT? I received a Diode Dynamics 12" amber, wide beam pattern bar and am trying to figure out if this is possible. Looking behind the grill, there seems to be some space between the louvers and back of the grill along with a horizontal plastic piece that could be used for mounting. The bar is about 3" deep front to back and whole assembly is 2 3/4" tall. Anyone know the dimensions of available space in this area? Too cold right now to pull plastic panels off.

I reached out to Diode Dynamics and asked if they had any experience mounting in this location but they responded they don't have any experience with this model truck.

I've seen a few mods on here that looked like they would work - fabricating tabs that hold the bar to the grill and another with fab'd tabs that mount to the tow hooks - but like the thought of protection from theft, rocks, and obstacles being behind the grill.
