I have an OEM light coming to me to test fits out for the Ford guys.

Other vehicles may work just fine of course... gotta love Ford... of course making the opening bigger will work just fine (like some of you had to do on the Anzos)
Post your results here if you could, a detailed install including wiring with pictures would be great.

I ended up returning those other bulbs, if you can make yours work with my truck I'll be the first to buy. Thanks

K so I test fit the bulb today. The base fits but the bulb is just a BIT too wide to fit into the opening. I believe with a bit of dremelling the bulb will fit fine (just like on some of the Anzo lights). I'll try sanding the bulb opening down a bit later and see how it fits in there.

The D2/D4 might be a better option (same exact bulb as the D1/D3) because it allows you to rotate the bulb. However if the D1/D3 give you a nice cut-off no need to rotate the bulb

K did some test fitting today. To use our bulbs you'll need to grind the opening for the bulb a bit... not much, pretty easy actually. But the bulbs fit and gives you a nice cut-off

Now I bought a projector housing for a 2014 from a junked cars site, so I didn't have a retainer clip for the bulb. So I don't know how these bulbs stay in place... maybe someone can take a photo or respond letting me know? The D1/D3 bulbs are what it calls for but the D2/D4 also fits (and allows you to turn the bulb, D1/D3 can't turn the bulb, but D2/D4 you can)... looks like it fits in one way, with the led aiming up? It did give me a nice cut-off on my wall.

The 83mm boots fits over the top just like on the 2015+ trucks

Where are the high beams on the HID OEM lights?

Thanks 4x4 I didn't want to be the guy cutting up my factory housing. One quick question, how do you get all the shavings out of the housing after using the dremel? I just wouldn't want stuff bouncing around in there...

Also to answer your question the high beam and low beam are the same bulb, there is a shutter that drops down when you hit the high beam that allows 100% of the light, I would think you could see it in there unless it was removed?

Were you able to try wiring the bulb that way it would be done on our trucks? I would just like to see it done before I started hacking up my wiring lol...

Ohh shavings, I didn't lol. Since these were junked lights anyway I didn't care about the shavings. But one thing you'll want to do is put some tape inside the housing, like stuff it with tape sticky side out... this way when you cut it the shavings don't fall in AND they stick to the tape.

Yeah it must have been removed, these were junked lights again.

I can't tell what kind of wiring it uses, again, I have a 2015 truck so I can't tell what wiring the other trucks use.

The D1/D2/D3/D4 just have a red/black lead off the ballast

So would you take the wires before the ballast and cut them and solder in the red/black wires from the LED?

No... the ballast connects to your factory wiring. I don't know what kind of wiring is on your truck but there should be 2 wires for the headlights.

Don't you want to bypass the factory ballast? Or do these lights utilize the factory ballast?

You would not use the factory ballast. I don't own a 2014 so I don't know how their wiring is done. You'd have to figure this part out. Basically the bulb would get wired to the provided ballast, and then the ballast to your factory wiring (the ballast being the new LED ballast that is provided with the lights).
