Just seeing everyone's opinion before making the big purchase. What is everyone's experience with either of these products? I'm leaning towards the Claralux G9s. I'm looking for LED headlights with a good cutoff and the best at throwing light down the road and that will last. Also how about the LED fog lights?

I think the SL1's are a superior quality headlight compared to the claralux, but the claralux are currently readily available and probably have similar output.

Diode Dynamics. You can buy the Claralux stuff on ebay all day, just generic packaging. I have been there and done that with stuff from 4x4truckleds. He sells the same stuff as all the cheap stuff on ebay, just has better customer support. I have learned that when a bulb from 4x4truckleds burns out, they like to question where you actually bought it, because they know all the same bulbs are all over ebay. Very annoying.

I know you're looking for feedback from others, not us - but here's my personal take after seeing the development and production of the SL1 first hand. Our engineers spent a huge amount of effort designing the SL1, and their top focus was optical performance. We have a light tunnel and equipment called a goniometer where we measure the beam pattern output, and the numbers don't lie - the SL1 throws more light in the hotspot and down the road than other imported/rebranded bulbs. Some come close, but when you factor in the design quality, compact fit (no dust cap modification), and compatibility with DRLs (no extra modules)... I believe we really do offer the best option right now for the 2015-2017 F-150 specifically.

I agree, I have mod money to spend and want several things. Whats more important than headlights designed specifically for 13th gen trucks? Nothing really. I will be dropping my $$$ for new bulbs from Diode Dynamics for sure.
