Default Better 2013 Lariat High Beams

I just bought a 1900K mile 2013 Lariat...FIRST FORD EVER and I will be 60 this year...I had been a GM owner all my life....Anyway, the high beams on this truck are way worse than my Sierra or other GM trucks I have owned. I would rather exchange bulbs if possible to get a brighter light without buying the whole light unit.

Which of the two lights below represents what's on your truck.

The Halogen housing:

Or the HID housing:

Better yet, post a picture of your truck from the front.

Funny how I thought the same about the mileage mistake and the response from the person about the mileage! Thanks for y'all's response and I have to say I am enjoying my Blue Oval! Owning many Chevys, Trans Am, and till recently a 67GTO convertible that I rebuilt ground up with a 428 Tri-power, big step buying this truck! Anyway, I have the top light, not the round projection type housing. Thanks again guys!

Oh lighten up, man. Or better yet, go have a Twinkie

Welcome to the forum, OP. I couldn't help but get a laugh out of 1.9 million miles, so just had to point it out! Take it with a grain of salt. After all, this is the internet.

Halogen lighting is all over the board. Some like Sylvania Silverstars, but I never had good luck with them. I ran Philips X-treme Power in my 2006 with good results...the high beams were impressive. They are not a coated bulb like the whiter lights...they were the standard yellow-ish halogen that you would expect and they were pretty damn bright.

Oh, don't worry about Mike.h20...he's short and lives under a bridge.
