Bed rail lights for cover

Bed Lights
I bought the 60" truck LED strips sold on Amazon for $27. They fit perfectly on each bed cover rail for the short bed and use 3M tape. Removed the tail lights to snake the wires behind to the bed LEDs. Since I got a new bedrug I just cut the wires to the bed LEDs and soldered directly to them so the switch controls them. Looks great!

The listing says that it's 3M tape, and normally the red backing strip indicates that it's the VHB (Very High Bond) version. If you start with a clean mounting surface it should hold just fine.
