Hi, I am new here and haven't replaced headlights before.
I have a question about the install: since ANZO has us disconnect the negative battery cable, to test the turn signal wires I assume I use the multimeter in voltage mode and test for which of the two outside wires of the brown turn signal connector is the positve power by grounding the other probe of the multimeter. right? Then the other outside wire is the ground and you can verify using a continuity test with the multimeter? Do I have that right? (I don't want to mess up my new truck LOL).

Does anyone else have some thoughts on these headlights? My buddy with a Silverado has headlights and taillights from Anzo on his truck and he said they are notorious for holding water in them.
I was considering a set for my truck but I'm nervous after hearing his story with them.
Any help would be appreciated.

I can only speak for the 2015+ F150s but they hold up just fine. The earlier/first ones did have issues but Anzo DID fix these issues. I've verified this by contacting them direct. They changed them slightly from the earlier models to make them better. That's why when you open them you see all the glue around the edges. They really went nuts with the glue to ensure a waterproof seal.

I debated on getting the Anzo's or going with the OEM black halogens. My main concern is the quality of the lens and how quickly it'll fade over time. I'm not about to pay $500 for non OEM headlights that will fade or peel after a year or two.
But man... I bet the output is much better than the OEMs. Still tempted to get a set even after getting the others.
