No unfortunately you'll need to run an extra power wire from inside the cab to use them as running lights. You'll need to add resistors and diodes to the power from the running light circuit to make the LEDs flash brighter during the turn signal.

Just finished the front mirror LEDs, went very smooth. As others have noted the passenger side had enough wire to work thru the puddle light hole, but I had to remove the mirror to get the drivers. Pretty easy to do, thanks for the procedure.

I received my led signals yesterday, did the black tape application and need to go out and get some clear silicone to make them water tight. In the mean time, I pulled the puddle lights down to see if the wires could be accessed that way. The passenger side is a slight possibility, but it would be impossible on the drivers side. Even on the passenger side, there is not enough extra wire to pull through the puddle light hole.
My guess is that this all needs to be done by removing the mirrors. I did attempt this, but chickened out after putting a lot of pressure on the mirror and it not releasing.
Could someone better explain the mirror removal process again?
Thanks

MAH, I don't have puddle lights, just worked through the access hole, that may be the difference. Passenger side I had a good 2" of wire, I stripped it with a razor and soldered. Very easy, probably just 20 minutes but that was going in and out to get tools.
There is a great tutorial on mirror removal, and I read it sometime yesterday, but forgot the points before I pulled the driver side, but it was easy. There is a funnel like area your screwdriver goes into, and it did take enough pressure to release it was making me nervous, but it did just pop off.

The screwdriver is used to hold back the clips on the mirror. push the mirror all the way downward then you can put your screwdriver behind the mirror and help pop the clips off the ball socket on the mirror motor.
