Looks good. This electrical tape version was a fantastic idea. Makes a cool mod even better.

Thanks bro, and even if your mirror is color matched it would be cool to paint the black plastic and utilize colored electrical tape!

My Anzo's have started to fail. I even sealed them up with the silicone and all.

After only 5 months in service I'm down to two LED's on each mirror now

Not to criticize man but you have to seal the suckers really good. The lense has to be sealed first then the led board then slather that thing flush. Toddmann had the same issue and found one tiny little hole in his.

Mine are still going strong in the salt caked roads in MN!

I was considering this mod this spring but I'm going to pass I'm not using any mod anymore with either of the these three following words in them Anzo, Recon or Spyder. All that junk comes out of the same bargain bin factory. Only thing I got burned on was a Recon tailgate led bar. Returned my Anzo tail lights not even a 1 year warranty will sway me for that quality of workmanship components and electronics they use. Live and learn I guess.

yeah it's pretty well known all three are junk and you need to "doctor" each one to be fully sealed. But for the price you can't beat these, guy on ebay had them for like $25 or some crazy cheap price!

Yeah I'm not going to hate on anyone who chooses to use w/e product they want to use, it's their money after all. I just prefer as little modification to my mods as possible. Those mirror indicators should have been stock OEM on the truck IMO. Let us know how long the next set lasts whoever changes them out for curiosity sake. It's easy to blame a bad seal job but when I hear both sides have LEDS burning out I think cheap circuitry may play a roll possibly.

Kind of off topic but I seen a F150 coming the other direction 2 days with the U-bar headlights I think those are Anzo they looked good but the two "U" LEDs on the driver side were flickering like crazy. My thoughts and impression was a good looking expensive truck now looks ghetto with those craptastic heads, lol. Again those flickering lights could also be from corroded contacts (lack of or no dielectric grease) and yes I do believe lots of electrical gremlins come from bad aftermarket user installs but with those three brands the product is just as guilty if not more then many of the installers of those products doing substandard grounds or other electrical connections etc.
