Anyone just let your truck Hyperflash?
So I'm thinking of doing some LED up grading to my 2015 and after doing some research am curious as to what the big deal was with hyperflash. Is it just annoying to people, or is there some other issue.I really dont like the resistor idea and havent looked deeper into the LED flasher relay replacements. But, one thing I never see in any of the info is "why do I need to get rid of hyperflash?"
Opinions? Thoughts?

Does it technically hurt anything? I dont think so. Does it make you look like a 16 year old with a riced out civic who thinks theyre cool because they spent their weekly paycheck at pep boys on led bulbs? Yes.

Op, you have a 2015. Don't do that. Either stick with halogen or do it the right way.

Yeah, I know, I typed that, but I know the difference between the bulbs. Just wasn't thinking when I was typing.

I had hyperflashing issues previously even after installing resistors (they weren't working). I used the Forscan program (thread in 2009-2014 section) and turned off the hyperflash with my laptop. No more hyperflashing.

Silverstar, Nighthawk - e.g Sylvania 3157 ST, GE Nighthawk 3157NH - are also halogen 'incandescent' bulbs. You can get turnsignals, stops and markers in ST or NH, in most bulb basing styles.
It's just a noble gas (properties of which help allow the tungsten to redeposit on the filament instead of occluding the inner bulb surface over time. Helps with maintaining intensity. Standard bulbs are typically just hard vacuum.
Don't mind me
