Ambient light kit from F150leds??
Has anyone tried the ambient light kit from F150leds? I see they have a Father's day sale going on and was hoping to get some opinions from previous users.
I would prefer the oem ambient lighting, but from what I've read it is not that simple
Thank you all. Since I bought my first F150 ever last year, I continue to be impressed with the quality of this truck. Just wish I had the coin to get the 502A vs. the 302A. lol

The general consensus around here is to stay away from f150leds. Do a search on here and then decide.
Not sure if 4x4truckleds has one of those kits, but if so, I'd go in that direction.

All that kit is, is some LED lights and some wire...
I've seen their installation and honestly it's not a great installation method. BUT that's what you need to do. A little LED rope lighting and some wires, drill a hole here/shove the wire in there, you are done.
We don't have a kit for this, sorry. We try and make things that WORK and don't "break" i used to sell those style wire strings a long time ago and they fail over time. So that's why I don't sell them.
Gluck though, they may last you a few years.

Thank you for the reply. I understand these may not be very durable but to install the OEM ambient lighting seems like a bit to much for me. Hopefully these will last for some time. After seeing what components are involved, I will have better idea of what to purchase in the future should they fail.
